UK Charity Pays for Vetinarians for the Homless.
Twice a month the group operates free clinics for pets of the unhoused.

In the U.S. the National Coalition for the Homeless, estimates that 5%-10% of unhoused individuals have dogs, cats, or both. While some raise questions about if such pets are receiving adequate care, one vet with the UK Charity says:
“These animals are with their owners constantly. They’re arguably better cared for than some housed animals.”
