The high school student was inspired by the Center for Tomorrow’s Leaders, a nonprofit with a presence in about 20 schools across Hawaii.

“We teach our students that leadership is more than just having a title. It’s really about looking for needs in the community and doing something about it,” said Megan Tasaki from Center for Tomorrow’s Leaders.
